Natural Excellence
Our Sun is a blazing fiery hurricane producing radiation that is poured forth into space in what we humans see as heat and light. It is difficult to imagine such a direct relationship to life on Earth - but we all know exactly how we, and every other creature on this planet, are totally dependent on our beloved Sun. We also love our world - constantly in motion. Never taking a “day-off”. Never getting tired. Sustaining life in every “nook and cranny”. Not only do these two “providers of life” perfectly support us, together with our moon they dictate our whole environment - when the day starts and night falls, the need to sleep and eat. Ultimately they determine the full cycle of life for everything. The Van Geijn Taxonomy of Natural Excellence starts with these Universal laws. They govern everything at its lowest level and dictate the patterns and structures that must be obeyed by all things, including human beings. Nature provides the next set of principles determining the shape of us as a species, race and then as an individual. The unique blueprint embedded in our DNA made up of the shared chromosomes of our parents determines our base physical and mental attributes. Within the womb this DNA blueprint ensures the Primary Repertoire of the brain grows allowing us to breath-eat-sleep-mate-avoid danger, thus to perform the very basics to exist. This development of the foetus and the form it adopts is determined by Nature, which is the next level within the Van Geijn Taxonomy providing another set of rules and regulations - but conforming to the lower level Universal laws Development within the womb continues and after about the eighth week, however the environment starts to also influence the brain’s development. The decision elements of the brain start to form following the DNA blueprint outline, but the circuitry now takes external stimuli into greater account. The brain’s growth progresses until the age of about 5 years where the Secondary Repertoire has now been formed through the combination of nature and nurture. Once this age is reached, the main circuitry within the brain is complete and “you are who you are” in terms of intelligence, your emotional behaviour, the way you analyse situations, form relationships and ultimately are powered to take decision. The external stimuli from the environment continue throughout life helping to form the brain’s memory and skill sets, and ultimately your total behaviour. The Primary Repertoire and the Secondary Repertoire now co-exist and each works to influence the behaviour in any situation. Within the Van Geijn Taxonomy of Natural Excellence this is the Naurture level. For a human to improve their performance at any discipline, they train. To have the best results, this training needs to take into account the Universal, Nature and Naurture laws of how we function best. Things like sleep patterns, diet, repetition and recovery rates need to be considered, plus personal strengths and weaknesses. Although one immediately thinks of one’s body being trained, the same principles holds true for the human brain - it is also like a muscle. By learning, repeating and making certain techniques second nature in line with the natural aspects of the human mind, one can dramatically improve the brain’s performance. For this purpose a comprehensive set of fundamentals have been researched by the i~NE that optimise performance in all areas of human functioning, as an individual and as part of a team. They take account of lower level laws previously mentioned, the functioning of the human brain, personal attributes within the Secondary Repertoire, and the interaction with other human beings plus the environment. These fundamentals are the main building blocks of all courses from the Institute. Within the Van Geijn Taxonomy they are the Natural Excellence Fundamentals. In order to reach maximum performance, these fundamentals are combined with every-day areas of application. This is where the Natural Excellence Fundamentals are incorporated within a specific discipline, like Sales, Project Management, Buying and an optimal usage has been developed. These practices for maximum performance, thus Natural Excellence, are the final level within the Van Geijn Taxonomy and are known as Natural Excellent Methods. They are at the highest level of obtaining true excellence. And, since they use the Natural Excellence Fundamentals as a core foundation, they inherit the attributes of complying with Universal, Nature’s and Naurture’s laws, maximising personal capabilities while having sincere human relationships and respecting the environment. By adoption and practicing these Methods Natural Excellence is achieved that ultimately delivers: | Skip Login LoginLatest News
