Centara Grand Mirage Pattaya sponsors the i~NE & Regent School’s charity treasure hunt rally, “Giving Naturally”

PATTAYA, Chonburi (March 03, 2010) - The Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, the first truly themed hotel in Thailand, today announces that it will sponsor the Institute of Natural Excellence (i~NE.org) “Giving Naturally” treasure hunt car rally. The event to be held on the 14th March 2010 will be run in conjunction with the Regents School to raise funds for the Laem Thong International Community Resource Centre on Phi Phi Island, a charity supported by the school.

Mr Adrian Brown, General Manager of the Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort stated “It is a great pleasure to be able to support this charity rally. As one of the most prominent resorts here in Pattaya we have a social responsibility to give back to the community and what better way to do this than raising funds for building a community resource centre on Phi Phi Island. This is our way of “Giving Naturally”.

Mr. Paul Crouch, Director of the Round Square Programme at the Regent’s School, Pattaya said “The Regent’s School is proud to be involved with the organisation of this first ever community treasure hunt that is based upon the theme of ‘Giving Naturally.’ This really typifies the educational philosophy of The Regent’s School Pattaya as we encourage all our students to work closely with the local community and value service as highly as their academic studies. This will be a truly rewarding family day out and I very much look forward to seeing many families and friends participate. Thank you to Centara and all our other event supporters. I am sure we can generate plenty of ‘giving’ and financial support for the Moken Sea Gypsy community project on Phi Phi Island.”

The rally will begin with a 100 cars starting the 55-kms journey at the Regents school and they will drive to several different pit stops in the Pattaya area. The route and pit stops will be a secret answering clues to determine their route. Contestants will have to complete an activity in line with the theme of the event (giving & nature) at each "pit stop" to receive directions for the next stage of the treasure hunt. A buffet will be provided at the end of the treasure hunt for all participants and prizes will be awarded to the winning contestants. Centara has provided some fantastic prizes along with a considerable amount of involvement and help to stage the event.

The interest persons who would like to participate in the “Giving Naturally” charity rally can contact Paul Crouch at email address pcrouch@regents.ac.th or call him on his mobile telephone number +66 899026286. To register there will be a 1000 baht fee plus money will be needed on the day to purchase treasure.

Apart from Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya, the charity rally is also sponsored by Horse Shoe Point, Liebherr Thailand, MAS, Pan Pan, First Step Construction & HomePro.
