Natural Excellence (NE) is a proven innovative management philosophy that provides any individual, team or organisation with the entire path to achieve true excellence in a natural way.

NE was formulated by Robert van Geijn as a result of his life-long research into people and business. This research resulted in the development of the Natural Excellence Fundamentals. These take account of the laws of the Universe, Nature and how humans are conceived, shaped and changed through life; how they engage and foster relationships; how they work together towards a single goal; how they adopt different levels of quality and ultimately how they deliver excellence as an individual and within a team. Robert’s research has considered aspects of biology, chemistry, psychology, sociology, philosophy, quality management, business science, organization & management and computer science, which have been integrated and enhanced through process science.

The NE Fundamentals were subsequently put in sequence such that they form a natural path for any person to achieve Natural Excellence in line with their own natural attributes; what one does well; how one reacts with others; how one can improve or change for the better, and what one can achieve in the surrounding environment both at work and in life. This sequence to achieve Natural Excellence is called the “Van Geijn taxonomy of excellence” and is illustrated within the adjoining image (please move mouse pointer over the image for explanation of levels). Ultimately, the NE Fundamentals can be applied anywhere and anytime by anyone, basically solving many of life’s everyday challenges. Very recent discoveries in neural science (via MRI scans) have confirmed the accuracy of the NE Fundaments with respect to the basic concepts of the human brain’s functions and higher level decision making process.

As a next step the NE Fundamentals have been integrated into areas of application to create NE Methods like Natural Project Management, Natural HR, Natural Change Management, Natural Buying, Natural Sales, etc.

Natural Excellence is independent of sex, race, religion, culture, belief and orientation. Furthermore, it provides a strong language to help communicate NE that further enhances and supports its adoption. Also, as the subject matter is applied a deeper meaning of the elements becomes evident. As a result, new ways to improve one-self, co-operate better with other people, and improve performance at the workplace can be found. Ultimately, it will allow anyone to become a learning individual and to create a learning organisation around them that is totally aligned.

Natural Excellence has already had great success and is used in Asia, Europe and the Middle East by individuals and organisations in areas such as change management and corporate alignment. It has strongly proven its strength and has demonstrated the positive outcome of deploying it.
